Arizona State University
The Arizona State University shortly known as ASU is located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, Arizona, United States. It is a public research funded University in Arizona State. It is the largest university in the United States which has a high admittance percentage. The university takes students from many parts of the world. The university offers wide range of courses in different domains. The university has the largest enrollment in every year, with about 72,000 students in 2011. It was founded in 1885 and had the name Temple Normal School. It was present in the earlier Arizona territory. It was under the control of Arizona Board of Regents. Later it was renamed as the Arizona State University. The present name was renamed by a ballot system. The University offers many under graduate and post graduate programs. Liberal arts, engineering, science, law, nursing and journalism courses are offered and they are divided into 14 major groups.

ASU University is spread over four different campuses, the original Tempe campus, the Polytechnic campus in Mesa, the West campus in northwest Phoenix and the Downtown Phoenix campus.
