University of Sheffield

The University of Sheffield is present in the city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, England. This university is one among the original “red brick” universities and is also a member of the Russell Group of primary research intensive universities. This university was ranked 40th in the top 100 universities in the world by the Global University Ranking Study 2009 and 17th in the United Kingdom in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. This university is also constantly ranked among the top 20 universities in the UK and Europe, in accordance to The Good University Guide.
