University of Salford

The University of Salford is present in Salford, Greater Manchester, England and has about 20,000 registered students. Education in UK is preferred by most of the students since it provides the best opportunity to the students in all possible ways for their bright future. The major Peel Park campus is less than 1.5 miles from Manchester city center on the banks of the River Irwell, nearby Peel Park, which was established on 22 August 1846 and is considered to be possibly the first public park in the world. An ex-president of the Students' Union expressed in the year 2007 that Salford is a relaxed campus close to Manchester, but cheaper and greener. There is a mainline railway station nearby the campus, which is known as Salford Crescent railway station and numerous high frequency bus services to Manchester, Salford and Bolton and Liverpool. There are numerous other university facilities located within a mile of the main campus, namely the Frederick Road and Adelphi campuses. Most of the University administration is located along Salford Crescent, opposite the Peel Campus. This university opened a teaching, learning and research space at MediaCityUK in the year 2011. It is said that more than 1500 students will benefit from this place since they will have the chance to work in close proximity to media professionals utilizing the latest industry specified studios, equipments and labs.
