List of Courses in United Kingdom
UCAS stand at the heart of connecting students to higher education. It offers foundation degrees, post graduate courses and a varied range of courses on specific subjects. Foundation courses are planned with the help of employers and are aimed at equipping the students with the required relevant knowledge for businesses.
A full time foundation course takes commonly two years whereas the part time courses usually take longer. Such courses on business management, manufacturing management etc are popular among students. Application or admissions to these courses require contacting the respective colleges or universities directly.
Some subjects like medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses , nursing, music, art or design etc require specific advise as they are rated as slightly different from the usual ones. Some institutions require students to pass entrance tests along with some standard qualifications in order to study certain subjects like medicine, dentistry, mathematics, computer science, history etc.
Usually universities and colleges have time until early May to decide the list of approved admissions.
