Universite du Quebec a Montreal
The Universite du Quebec a Montreal is present in Montreal, Canada. This university is a French-language university and is also the largest constituent element of Universite du Quebec [UQ], a public university system. This university was established in the year 1969 by the government of Quebec, via the amalgamation of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Montreal, a fine arts school, the College Sainte-Marie, a classical college; and numerous smaller schools. Even though being a part of the UQ network, this university has a relative independence that permits it to print its own diplomas and choose its rector. This university had around 41325 students in 6 faculties [Education, Arts, Political Science, Communication, Science and Social Science] in the year 2011. Study in Canada is always highly regarded and so is this French-language university.
This university provides Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees. This university is one among the two French-language universities together with the Universite de Montreal, and only 1 percent of its student population is Anglophone. This university is the only one in the whole world to provide a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in sexology. The campus of this university is located in downtown Montreal and was designed by Dimitri Dimakopoulos.
