Culture shock is known as the feeling where in an alien country one feels frustrated. It so happens because, once in a foreign country it is hard to communicate with the natives. They have different cultural backgrounds altogether. They might not be able to share the same feelings as yours. All the aforesaid factors contribute to cultural shock.

It is said that Canadians are highly hospitable. In this case one is bound to feel at home. The inability to communicate with friends or any such relatives might breed frustrations.
