RMIT University

RMIT University is situated in Melbourne, Victoria. It consists of two branches that are known as RMIT University in Australia and RMIT International University in Vietnam. This university was established in the year 1887 by The Hon. Francis Ormond. It is the 3rd oldest higher education provider in the state of Victoria and the 7th oldest in the whole of Australia. The main campus of this university is situated in the northern end of the Melbourne CBD. RMIT University was honored with royal patronage in the year 1954, and is the only university in Australia to have received this award. This university ranked in the top ten universities in the whole of Australia, according to the THES-QS World University Rankings in the year 2009. This university is also included in the top 100 universities in the world for creating work-ready graduates and is also one among the 20 institutes of technology that appear in the listing.
