Bond University

Bond University is situated in Robina, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. This university diverges from the other universities in Australia since it plans 3 semesters every year, starting in the month of January, May and September, thereby permitting a 6-semester degree to be completed in 2 years time, as an alternative to the regular 3 years time. Education in Australia is highly regarded by most of the international students and so is this university.

This university was founded in the year 1987 when the Parliament of Queensland presented it with university status through the passage of the Bond University Act. This university started to teach in 1989 and took 322 students to study.
This university was established and its growth was funded through a joint venture between Bond Corporation in Australia and the Japanese entity, EIE, at the proposal of Alan Bond, the founder and Chairman of Bond Corporation. In the year 1991, EIE got the share of the Bond Corporation and the development lands were then passed into the administration of a receiver/manager, substitute for the principal creditor of EIE. This campus was attained by Bond University Ltd in the year 1998.

Faculty of Business, Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, and Institute of Sustainable Development & Architecture are the 5 major faculties of this university.
